Incredible happy hour! Mai Tai, Cannonball drinks, poke bowls, hummus. Cant go wrong! Kayla was an incredible bartender, giving us all the recs and super knowledgeable about all the drinks. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Wailea area!
The mai tai is top notch. The CREAM martini is a MUST. Honestly the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. The food here is more “small plates” feel but very good. Especially the poke
This was a nice surprise. Don’t let the unassuming exterior in a bougie shopping center fool you! This place has notch cocktails—the Pandan Killer Milk Punch was one of the best cocktails. Of. My. Life. 😮💨🤯. The food was also excellent. Way more elevated and healthy than your average tiki bar.
Okay, I cannot glow bright enough to explain to you how incredible this place is, and I beg you to read on! We flew into Maui, then took an Uner to Grand Wailea. We visited the bar at the resort, then we walked the beachwalk, stopping at a few places along the way. After attending the Christmas light ceremony, we went to a local bar. It was pretty good, but we met a local there who told us to try Tikehau Lounge. We took the half mile walk to this location and ordered food and drinks. I cannot tell you how awesome Victor, Mari, and Kyla took care of us! Their cocktails are unique, without being weird. The pride tbey take in CRAFTING their cocktails is i spiring! They have themed mugs and glasses, and some unique Whiskeys which I have never tried like Kupu (Whiskey and Gin) and Uncle Nearest whiskey. Let me tell you, the most perplexing thing I ever tastes was Okolehao 100 proof original. This stuff smells horrible and tastes AMAZING! Anyway, I am getting off track. If you visit Maui, you have to go to Tikehau Lounge and sample all the goods. Let Victor take you on a tour. You will NOT be disappointed. The food was great, the drinks were great, the experience was AWESOME!
This is a fantastic find in Wailea. Great drinks and solid food. I had both the 1944 Mai Tai and the fabulous Rum Cannonball, a perfect drink when you think about a tropical vacation. The Prime Beef Kalbi was unlike any version I've had before, delicious and a huge meal. The bartenders are passionate about the drinks and you can tell when you take you first sip. There are also some legit, well curated liquors on their wall behind the bar that demonstrate how serious they are about their craft. Fun place and great drinks and food.
Visited Tikehau Lounge in Wailea twice in a row—the craft cocktails and inviting Pacific-inspired vibe had us hooked from the start. Bartenders (Mari especially) were super friendly and helpful, crafting standout drinks like the Thousand Peaks with blue spirulina, topped by a salty foamy wave and mini surfboard garnish that was so damn good. One night buzzed with a lively event, the next was perfectly chill; the stunning Henri Rousseau-inspired mural added artistic flair to the cozy space. A must-visit for cocktail enthusiasts—totally recommend and we'd return anytime!
Hands down the best cocktail bar in Maui. Tikehau Lounge completely blew us away, incredible atmosphere, amazing hospitality, and a staff that genuinely makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A huge shoutout to Dom behind the bar, who was crafting some seriously amazing libations all night. We had several cocktails including the King Kong, House Mai Tai, Six Figures, and a Chartreuse Special, and every single drink was outstanding, balanced, creative, and clearly made with a lot of skill and passion. The service was impeccable, the hospitality unmatched, and the cocktail program is on another level. If you love craft cocktails, this is an absolute must in Maui. Easily the best cocktail experience we’ve had on the island, can’t wait to come back!
Came for happy hour. Ordered the rum cannonball slushy which was delicious and perfect amount of booziness. We also got the mai tai on the happy hour menu and it was also a hit, we loved the subtle earthy aftertaste. The poke bowl and ahi slider were to die for...amazing! Super friendly staff, too. Will be back next time we're in Maui!
This place blew me away! From the expertly crafted cocktails to the poke bowl and homemade banana ice cream sundae for dessert (yes homemade and salted rum caramel top it 😋), this is a new spot that you have to checkout while on the island! Excellent service as well, thanks Dominic and team!
Ridiculously good handcrafted cocktails. Presentation is top shelf (pun intended). Excellent service, great happy hour items, and exceptional cocktails. Been here several years in a row (I don’t live in Maui), this place is an absolute go-to if you like exceptionally well crafted cocktails.
